12. The Apostolic Church (TAC)

TAC is among the earliest churches in Nigeria. In 1931, Gabriel Olutola established the church. The church has millions of adherents and is continually expanding. TAC owns a facility at Ketu, Lagos State, which was officially completed after 25 years. The camp auditorium can accommodate over 100,000 churchgoers. TAC also has branch offices in Nigeria and overseas.

Prophet T.B. Joshua founded the Synagogue Church of all Nations and served as its general overseer until his death in 2020. Fountain of Life Church was founded by Pastor Taiwo Odukoya and is headquartered in Ilupeju, Lagos. The screenshot below shows that the church auditorium is fairly large and can accommodate over 5,000 congregations.

This church was very popular in Nigeria and one of the biggest when its owners, the late Dr. Bimbo Odukoya, were alive. The church still does okay with its message on the single and married. The church has a membership strength of more than 10,000 worshipers.

5. Deeper Life Christian Ministry

Deeper Christian Life Ministry (also known as Deeper Life Bible Church) is a non-denominational Christian Church with its International headquarters, Deeper Life Bible Church Lagos in Lagos, Nigeria. It is overseen by the General Superintendent of Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor William Folorunso Kumuyi. Pastor W. F. Kumuyi founded the Church in 1973. He started with just 15 people when he began his ministry in 1973. He was once a Mathematics lecturer at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Yaba.

The Church has grown tremendously today, with branches nationwide and abroad. The headquarters church auditorium can seat over 30,000 people, ranking it the 5^th biggest of all churches in Nigeria.

Christ Embassy, also known as Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated, is a megachurch and a Christian denomination founded by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome in 1990. Living Faith Church Worldwide (also known as Winners Chapel) is a Mega Church and a Christian denomination founded by Bishop David Oyedepo in 1983. The organization has since become a global network of congregations in 65 countries. It was sometimes labeled as the largest church in the world by the Guinness Book of Records.
