How to Reprint Your JAMB Slip on a Computer
Follow these simple steps to access and print your JAMB examination slip:
- Open any web browser on your computer and navigate to the JAMB slip printing portal
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number, registered email address, or phone number in the provided field
- Click on the “Print Examination Slip” button to proceed
- Review your examination details carefully (date, time, and venue)
- Print a physical copy of your slip or save a digital version to your computer for future reference
How to Reprint Your JAMB Slip on a Mobile Phone
Follow these simple steps to access your JAMB examination slip using your smartphone:
- Launch Google Chrome on your mobile device
- Visit the mobile JAMB slip printing portal
- Tap the three-dot menu icon (located at the top or bottom of your screen)
- Select “Desktop Site” from the dropdown menu
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number, registered email address, or phone number
- Tap the “Print Examination Slip” button
- Ensure pop-ups are enabled on your browser
- Your examination slip will display on a new page for viewing or downloading
remember: The main exam (UTME) will be held from Friday, 25 April 2025, to Monday, 5 May 2025.

Latest JAMB 2025 News Update
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has just announced the schedule for the 2025 UTME. See details below.
The sale of forms will begin on January 31, 2025, and close on March 5, 2025. For Direct Entry candidates, the sale of application documents and e-PIN vending will begin on March 10, 2025, and end on April 7, 2025.
- Sales of forms and registrations begin on Friday, 31 January 2025.
- The closing date for form sales is Wednesday, 5 March 2025.
- The mock UTME is scheduled for Thursday, 10th April 2025.
- The main exam (UTME) will be held from Friday, 25 April 2025, to Monday, 5 May 2025.
Also note that the printing of the JAMB 2025 exam slips will begin on April 10, 2025.
Note: The 2025 JAMB Mock UTME has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 10th, 2025, instead of the original date of Saturday, April 5th. The main UTME will commence on April 25th, 2025.
JAMB 2025 Registration Fees
- Candidates registering for the 2025 UTME with a mock exam will pay ₦8,200.
- Candidates opting for UTME only (without the mock) will pay ₦7,200.
- A trial-testing mock, exclusively for underage candidates or those seeking Computer-Based Test (CBT) experience, will cost ₦3,500.
- Direct Entry candidates will also pay ₦5,700.

- UTME/DE JAMB application fee: ₦3,500
- Reading Text: ₦1,000
- CBT Centre Registration Service Charge: ₦700
- CBT Centre UTME Service Charge: ₦1,500
- CBT Mock Service Charge: ₦1,500

Mock Exam for Underage Candidates
Prof. Oloyede stated that JAMB introduced a mock UTME specifically for candidates under the age of 16. This initiative does not serve admission purposes but helps younger candidates assess their abilities and prepare for future examinations.
He emphasized that candidates must turn at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025, to qualify for admission into universities, polytechnics, or colleges of education. However, JAMB may consider exceptionally gifted candidates under 15 if they score a minimum of 280 in the UTME and perform exceptionally well in their Senior Secondary Certificate and post-UTME examinations.
Age and Admission Policy
The JAMB Registrar reaffirmed the enforcement of the 16-year minimum age requirement for the 2025 UTME registration. He explained that JAMB had previously encountered legal disputes over age limits, prompting the adoption of 16 years as the minimum age for admission into tertiary institutions.
A prior proposal to raise the age limit to 18, introduced by former Minister of Education Prof. Tahir Mamman, was reversed after widespread public backlash. Dr. Tunji Alausa, his successor, officially suspended the 18-year age requirement in November 2024.
Additional Updates
Prof. Oloyede revealed that 870 computer-based test (CBT) centers have been screened and provisionally approved for the 2025 UTME, an increase from 747 centers in 2024. He also encouraged candidates not seeking immediate admission but wishing to gain familiarity with the CBT format to register for the trial-testing mock exam. These updates highlight JAMB’s ongoing efforts to enhance the UTME process while upholding strict standards for age and academic performance in tertiary admissions.
JAMB 2025 UTME Results
Here’s how to check your Jamb results using the Shortcode Method or via SMS:
We are delighted to inform you that the JAMB UTME results for 2024 have been released. Some JAMB aspirants confirmed this via the JAMB results tracking thread. The shortcode technique is currently available to check your results. Check out the instructions below:
Create an SMS containing the term “UTMERESULT” and send it to 55019 to check your results using the shortcode method.
Ensure you use the same mobile number you used in registering for the UTME.
If a candidate uses a phone number that was not previously registered, the system will notify them with the message, “This phone number was not previously used for registration.”
Candidates must ensure they have at least N50 in airtime credit to send the SMS.
Candidates who use the shortcode technique must authenticate their results on the JAMB website.
What is the procedure for obtaining the JAMB syllabus?
Syllables for the jamb are readily available. After acquiring a JAMB registration form, JAMB will provide you with a CD containing syllables. This link will also allow you to obtain the JAMB curriculum for all topics.

No two JAMB exams can be comparable in terms of difficulty or scope. The JAMB examination has undergone major changes. The exam has effectively transitioned from traditional paper and pen to JAMB CBT. Registration, testing, and the printing of original JAMB result slips have all seen significant changes in the JAMB process over the last decade.
