How to Activate and Deactivate MTN End of Call Notification
Let’s start with the activation procedure.
How to Activate EOCN on MTN:
To activate your MTN EOCN, follow the procedures below
Procedure 1
STEP 1: Dial *123# and send it using your mtn sim
STEP 2: Reply to the prompt with “1″ which is the Account info
STEP 3: Reply to the next prompt with “5″ which is End of Call Message
STEP 4: Respond to the prompt with your choice.
If you reply with 1, it means you want to activate the EOCN service.
But if you reply with 2, it means you want to deactivate the EOCN service.
After you have finished with STEP 4, you will receive a popup message saying “You have successfully activated End of Call Notification service. You will receive a notification message at the end of every chargeable activity you make.”
Procedure 2:
To activate the End of Call Notification Service, text EOCN ON to 131
Important Notice: You have to note that this activation lasts for 3years.
How to Deactivate EOCN on MTN
To deactivate your MTN End of Call Notification, follow these procedures:
Procedure 1
STEP 1: Dial *123# and send it using your MTN sim
STEP 2: Reply to the prompt with “1″ which is the Account information.
STEP 3: Reply to the next prompt with “5”, which is End of Call Message
STEP 4: Respond to the prompt with your choice.
Reply with 2 which means you want to deactivate the EOCN service.
After you are done with STEP 4, you will receive a popup message saying “You have successfully deactivated End of Call Notification service. You will no longer receive notification messages at the end of your activities. Thank you”
Procedure 2
To deactivate this service, text EOCN OFF to 131.

Customers should note that they will not be charged for activating and deactivating the notification message.
