MTN End of Call Notification: Here in this article, you will see how to activate or deactivate MTN End of Call Notification.

I know that most of us here might have ignorantly activated this service. In that case, I will start by telling you how this End of Call Notification works.

What is MTN End of Call Notification

This is that particular message notification you do receive whenever you drop a call. This notification will tell you about your Credit balance and Data Bundle balance

This notification message will include the total cost of your last activity and the remaining balance in the customer’s account at the end of every voice call, SMS, and Data activity.

However, some people see this notification as a good one while some persons on the other way round, see this as awkward and wish to deactivate the service.

So here in this article, I will show you how to either activate or deactivate this service from your sim all by yourself, without going to MTN office or agent.

How to Activate and Deactivate MTN End of Call Notification

How to Activate EOCN on MTN:

To activate your MTN End of Call Notification, follow the steps below to get that done quickly.

STEP 1: Dial *123# and send it using your mtn sim

STEP 2: Reply the prompt with “1″ which is the Account info

STEP 3: Reply the next prompt with “5″ which is End of Call Message

STEP 4: Respond to the prompt with your choice. If you reply with 1. that means you want to activate the EOCN service. But if you reply with 2, that means you want to deactivate the EOCN  service.

After you have finished with STEP 4, you will receive a popup victory message saying “You have successfully activated End of Call Notification service. You will receive a notification message at the end of every chargeable activity you make.” 

OR

To activate for this service, text EOCN ON to 131

You have to know that activation lasts for 3years.

How to Deactivate EOCN on MTN:

To deactivate your MTN End of Call Notification, Follow these procedures.

STEP 1: Dial *123# and send it using your mtn sim

STEP 2: Reply the prompt with “1″ which is the Account info

STEP 3: Reply the next prompt with “5″ which is End of Call Message

STEP 4: Respond to the prompt with your choice. Reply with 2 that means you want to deactivate the EOCN service.

After you have finished with the STEP 4, you will receive a popup victory message saying “You have successfully deactivated End of Call Notification service. You will no longer notification message at the end of your activities. Thank you” 

OR

To deactivate for this service, text EOCN OFF to 131

Is the Any Fee Charge for Activating or Deactivating EOCN

Customers should note that they will NOT be charged for activating and deactivating the notification message.
