Once you are done with the CAC registration process, you must obtain approval from the Ministry of education of the state where the school is located.
To obtain this approval, you will first of all have to write a formal application to the Ministry of Education of the state where the school is located.
After that, the officials of the Ministry of Education will come to the school for the 1st InspectionInspection, in which they will inspect toilets, classrooms, and administrative blocks.
After the 1st InspectionInspection, the school will submit approval forms to the Ministry of Education to the school authorities.
After finishing with the approval submission, there will be a 2nd inspection of the school by the officials of the Ministry of Education, where they will inspect curriculum textbooks and other items.
After the 2nd Inspection, an approval certificate will be awarded to the school after satisfaction by the Ministry officials.
After successfully registering a school with the Corporate Affairs Commission, the next thing to be done is to obtain approval from the Ministry of Education in the state where the school is located.
Last but not least, a school must have registered with the CAC in compliance with the requirements of the Companies and Allied Matters Act LFN 2004 to be legally recognized in Nigeria. Before opening, such a school must have clearance from the state’s Ministry of education after CAC registration.
