Cut-off marks for NCEE 2024

The NCE 2024 result cut-off marks can help you determine if your child is eligible for admission to the institution or school of his or her choice.

The following are the entrance requirements stipulated by the FG for unity schools, according to the education minister:

National merit or the cut-off mark would take 60% (146 for merit), equality of state 30%, and other factors 10%

Candidates who apply to schools outside of their home state will be given first priority.

It’s also worth noting that each Federal Government Secondary School has a higher competitiveness than the others. The leading federal secondary schools in Nigeria, such as King’s College, Queen’s College, FGCS Benin, FGCS Akure, and others, are very competitive. This is due to the pupils’ performance in WASSCE and nationwide competitions. In addition, there is a large number of applicants seeking JSS 1 entrance into these institutions.

In addition to the unity schools cut-off point, the system will prefer students in the top percentile for admission. The authorities will prioritize candidates who score higher than the minimum required mark on the National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) over those who merely meet the cut-off point.
