Nonetheless, Trekking from the beginning of Lekki-Expressway to where you’ll find the beach may take 1 hour and 15 minutes. So, it’s always advisable to use any of the famous yellow Lagos taxis or public transport.

NOTE: It is advisable to wear casual dresses or shorts with slippers for comfort at the beach.

GETTING TO ELEKO BEACH

Getting to Eleko Beach is easy via the Lekki Epe Expressway. You can either take one of the well-known yellow Lagos cabs or public transportation.

For frugal travelers, public buses are less expensive, but cabs are more convenient. It takes a couple of hours to drive from the Lekki toll gate to Eleko Beach.

To get to Eleko Beach Road, take the Lekki – Epe Expressway for 49 kilometers and turn right.

WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT ELEKO BEACH?

It is advisable to go during weekdays when there are fewer people at the beach if you want some privacy and quiet.
