Jamb Registration Centres 2022
The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) recently released the accredited list of all Professional Registration Centres (PRC) and Professional Testing Centres (PTC) that have been granted provisional accreditation for the UTME 2022.
Candidates are advised to carry out their JAMB CBT Registration in any of these locations.
JAMB 2022 Latest Updates
- UTME Registration for 2022 begins on 12th February 2022
- UTME Registration for 2022 closes on 19th March 2022
- UTME Mock Examination holds on 2nd April 2022
- 2022 UTME Examination begins: 20th April 2022
- 2022 UTME Examination ends: 30th April 2022
- Cost of Registration: #4,700 (e.pin: #3,500, Use of English text: #500 and CBT charge: #700; Total: #4,700
- JAMB is adopting a cashless policy in the registration process for the 2022 UTME
- Candidates will NOT pay any money to the CBT centre for registration.
- All fees (#4,700) will be paid directly to JAMB while JAMB pays the CBT centres

- Direct entry registration is to run concurrently with the UTME registration

Requirements to start a JAMB Registration/CBT Centre 2022
The following are the requirements to start a Jamb Registration Centre in 2022:
- 250 perfectly functioning laptop or desktop pcs with 10% (i.e. 25) backups
- Separate cubicles with a specified size of 26 inches, a width of 18 inches, and a height of 18 inches, as well as a suitable chair for each system.
- For a desktop computer, a flat-screen monitor of at least 15 inches is required, while a laptop requires a display of at least 17 inches.
- Personal computers must be linked to a powerful computer server that can handle 250 simultaneous connections.
- The structure of the Cable Local Area Network must be used to connect all of the computer systems (LAN). (The use of a mobile wireless connection is not permitted.)
- A minimum of five (5) skilled workers and one network administrator is required, as well as sufficient surveillance.
- A backup power source (electricity-generating equipment of at least 40 KVA for a centre with 250 systems; 60 KVA for 350 systems; and 100 KVA for systems over 350) and UPS/inverters capable of supporting all systems for at least two (2) hours.
- The centre must be properly gated.
- A waiting room or reception area, such as a pavilion with seats, must be provided.
- The centre must not be located in a shared space such as a theatre, retail shop, or market. There must be sufficient and working air conditioning and lights.
- Antivirus must be kept updated, and all computers must be virus-free.
- Windows 7 or a higher version of the operating system is required.
- All CBT centres must have an IP camera (CCTV).
