Waec Grading System

How ready are you for your forthcoming WAEC?

If you’re just 43.9% prepared for a particular subject, say Mathematics.

You will fail.

To get accepted into most tertiary Institutions.

You must get at least a credit pass (50%) in your core subjects.

Importance of WAEC Results for Admission Seekers

The fact that you earned an A1 in each of your WAEC subjects does not guarantee your admission to a higher hospital; you still need to clear a further JAMB-imposed barrier.

Admission applicants into universities, academic institutions, technical colleges, colleges of education and other educational establishments will have to take part in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), an admission test implemented by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), which is a part of organizations in the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria.

This means that applicants must meet not only the university’s general entrance standards but also those of the specific faculty in which they intend to enroll in their desired course.

Secrets of making A1 waec grades in all your subjects?

In this second part of the article, we will be looking at how to score A1 in all subjects in the waec exams.

I will expose the secrets that top-performing students in every waec exam use to score the grades in the Waec Grading System.

Now, just to be clear…

WAEC grades can significantly impact your post-secondary school academics, especially because your grades determine your chances of gaining admission. Professional courses like Medicine, law, pharmacy and engineering will require a lot of ‘As’ in most subjects. Even highly-sought universities like the University of Ilorin, the University of Lagos, University of Ibadan use waec grades to screen students.

So, you need to do very well in your waec and score ‘As’ if you want to get into your dream university and study your dream course without hassle.

Without further hassle, let’s analyze some of the secrets of getting an excellent grade in all subjects in waec:

  • Ensure you concentrate and focus in class in the last few months preceding the WAEC examinations. It is the most effective way to improve the knowledge you have gathered and adequately prepare. Avoid all forms of distractions or truancy. Not showing up in class might cause you to miss out on vital information that will most certainly show up during the exam day.
  • There’s nothing better than jotting down vital details. It will help you retain whatever you are learning better. Always remember to take notes in class, as it will help your studying process and preparation.
  • Make sure you prepare daily. Don’t give a chance for frivolous or distractive activities. Always be occupied with studying. Read past questions at home and critically analyze them with your friends. It will help you gain valuable insight. There are always some questions that waec always repeat yearly. Have a study timetable to help you study consistently.
  • A great secret of high performance in waec examinations is using a study aid called mnemonics. It is a memory trick and learning technique that can help you remember some areas in your notes, such as types, categories, examples and functions. Be careful not be mix them up when mastering them. Mnemonics are exceedingly helpful in science-based subjects like mathematics, physics and chemistry.
  • I have already emphasized the value of past questions. Past questions will assist you in understanding the question pattern of the examination bodies. It will help you to know what to expect. It is a great way of being prepared. Waec past questions will also allow you to know your area of weakness so you can figure out how to prepare. You can get free jamb past questions here.

The most important thing to note is that failure to prepare means preparing to fail. What separates the high-performing waec student from his counterpart is adequate preparation and intense studying.

Can you upgrade your Waec Grade?

You will be arrested and prosecuted.

We’re all familiar with “upgrading,” which refers to improving something. Many WASSCE upgrade claims seek to ‘boost student’s WAEC grade’ for a fee on the internet.

This issue has sent the wrong message to candidates, especially those who haven’t done well in their examinations. WAEC upgrade is a scam and a waste of money. Let’s show you why:

If you get caught upgrading your results, you can get arrested.

WAEC is a serious exam board that truly rewards hard work in its exams. If you have a good result, congratulations; nevertheless, WAEC can readily identify a fraudulent result. If you and the person who upgraded your results are detected, you will almost certainly face criminal prosecution.

You will be withdrawn from the University.

You will be dismissed from the university, rusticated, disgraced, and possibly barred from further studies.

It’s the goal of every student who has taken the WASSCE or Nov/Dec exam to gain admission into the university. Many people’s dreams are hanging in the balance now that the WAEC has announced the November/December results, as they have failed to meet the University’s admission criteria.

If you upgrade your WAEC results illegally, be warned that the university you are applying to will seek your certified WAEC results. If WAEC sends your certified result straight to the (Result Confirmation), which differs from the one you received via the upgrade, the University will file a public statement. You will be unable to gain admission. Many students have had their titles revoked, and their certificates invalidated many years after graduation. Is this what you want? Have you thought of shame? Are you up for the challenge?

Your ambitions and “valid reasons” for upgrading your results will be shattered.

Disgraced by a front-page photograph

WAEC and your university will publicize your name and photograph in the media and on the internet.

That can change the course of your life for the worse.
