The fact that you earned an A1 in each of your WAEC subjects does not guarantee your admission to a higher hospital; you still need to clear a further JAMB-imposed barrier.

Admission applicants into universities, academic institutions, technical colleges, colleges of education and other educational establishments will have to take part in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), an admission test implemented by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), which is a part of organizations in the Federal Ministry of Education in Nigeria.

This means that applicants must meet not only the university’s general entrance standards but also those of the specific faculty in which they intend to enroll in their desired course.

WAEC grades can significantly impact your post-secondary school academics, especially because your grades determine your chances of gaining admission. Professional courses like Medicine, law, pharmacy and engineering will require a lot of ‘As’ in most subjects. • There’s nothing better than jotting down vital details. It will help you retain whatever you are learning better. Always remember to take notes in class, as it will help your studying process and preparation.

Can you upgrade your Waec Grade?

You will be arrested and prosecuted.

We’re all familiar with “upgrading,” which refers to improving something. Many WASSCE upgrade claims seek to ‘boost student’s WAEC grade’ for a fee on the internet.

This issue has sent the wrong message to candidates, especially those who haven’t done well in their examinations. WAEC upgrade is a scam and a waste of money. Let’s show you why:

If you get caught upgrading your results, you can get arrested.

WAEC is a serious exam board that truly rewards hard work in its exams. If you have a good result, congratulations; nevertheless, WAEC can readily identify a fraudulent result. If you and the person who upgraded your results are detected, you will almost certainly face criminal prosecution.

You will be withdrawn from the University.

You will be dismissed from the university, rusticated, disgraced, and possibly barred from further studies.

It’s the goal of every student who has taken the WASSCE or Nov/Dec exam to gain admission into the university. Many people’s dreams are hanging in the balance now that the WAEC has announced the November/December results, as they have failed to meet the University’s admission criteria.

If you upgrade your WAEC results illegally, be warned that the university you are applying to will seek your certified WAEC results. If WAEC sends your certified result straight to the (Result Confirmation), which differs from the one you received via the upgrade, the University will file a public statement. You will be unable to gain admission. Many students have had their titles revoked, and their certificates invalidated many years after graduation. Is this what you want? Have you thought of shame? Are you up for the challenge?

Your ambitions and “valid reasons” for upgrading your results will be shattered.

Disgraced by a front-page photograph

WAEC and your university will publicize your name and photograph in the media and on the internet.

That can change the course of your life for the worse.
