Peace Mass Transit Price List: Routes & Current Fares

Updated22 August 2026
Reading time4 minutes

Peace Mass Transit (PMT) fares currently run from about ₦4,000 on short eastern hops (Abakaliki → Enugu) to ₦54,000 on long cross-country routes like Aba → Abuja. Lagos → Abuja is ₦40,000–₦42,000 and Lagos → Port Harcourt is ₦40,000. Every fare on this page comes straight from PMT’s official booking site, pmt.ng — checked on 22 August 2026.

Peace Mass Transit price list and routes

PMT runs two bus classes and the difference shows in the fare: Standard (no AC) is the cheaper workhorse, and Premium AC adds a few thousand naira on routes where it operates. Where a route shows a range below, the low end is the Standard bus and the high end is Premium AC.

How to book a PMT ticket

  1. Go to pmt.ng/book-a-ride.
  2. Pick your departure terminal, destination and travel date.
  3. Choose a departure time and seat, then pay online with your card or transfer.
  4. You get a booking reference — show it (plus a valid ID) at the terminal on travel day.

No data or the site is down? Walk into any PMT terminal and pay cash at the counter — same fare board. You can also call PMT on 0700 732 2362 or email contact@pmt.ng.

Why book ahead: morning departures (most loads leave 6:30 AM) fill up first, especially Fridays, Sundays and festive weeks.

Peace Mass Transit price list (current fares)

Fares below are per adult seat, pulled from pmt.ng departures. PMT adjusts fares with fuel prices and season — treat anything older than a few weeks as a guide, and confirm on the booking page before you travel. Fuel is the biggest driver: see our live fuel price tracker for where pump prices stand.

PMT terminals

PMT lists 21 terminals on its booking site: Aba (Factory Road), Abakaliki, Abuja (Gwagwalada, Mararaba, Zuba and Utako), Asaba, Bayelsa (Yenagoa), Benin, Calabar (Ettagbor), Enugu, Ibadan, Ikom, Lagos (Jibowu, Mazamaza and Ojota), Nsukka, Obollo Afor, Port Harcourt and Uyo. Loading is heaviest at Mazamaza (Lagos), Utako (Abuja) and the eastern hubs.

Is PMT the cheapest?

On most eastern and middle-distance routes, yes — PMT’s Standard buses undercut the AC-only operators. If you want an AC coach with online seat selection, compare GIGM fares and Chisco fares on the same route before you book. For the Lagos–East corridor also check ABC Transport and Libra Motors (LIBMOT); for Akwa Ibom and Cross River, AKTC is the local specialist.
