How to Subscribe
Option 1: USSD shortcut
Dial the activation code from the table for your chosen plan. Confirm the prompt. You will get an SMS once the bundle is active.
Option 2: Main USSD menu
1. Dial *141# on your Airtel line.
2. Select 7 (Social Bundles).
3. Choose All Social Bundle, FB+WhatsApp, or another category.
4. Pick the daily, weekly, or monthly option.
Option 3: myAirtel app
Open the myAirtel app, tap Buy Bundle → Social Bundles, pick a plan, and pay from your airtime or card.
How to Check Your Balance
Dial *140# for an SMS with your active social bundle and expiry date. Dial *323# for full data balance details.
How to Stop Auto-Renewal
Facebook + WhatsApp bundles auto-renew when your bundle expires and you have airtime. To stop renewal:
- Dial the opt-out code in the table above (e.g., *141*254*1# for the daily bundle).
- Or text STOP to 140.

Social Plans vs FB+WA Bundles: Which Is Better?
- Pick Social Plans if you also use X (Twitter) or want longer validity for ₦300 (25 days, 700MB).
- Pick FB+WA Bundles if you only need Facebook and WhatsApp and prefer a fixed 30-day monthly cycle.
- Pick the ₦25 WhatsApp-only daily if you chat lightly and want the cheapest option.
FAQs
Do these bundles work without main data?
Yes. Once active, the bundle covers WhatsApp (and other listed apps) even with 0MB main data.
Can I make WhatsApp video calls on these plans?
Yes, but video calls burn data quickly. The 20MB and 40MB daily plans last only minutes on a video call. Use the ₦100 or ₦300 plans for regular calling.
Will my unused MB roll over?
No. Unused balance expires at the end of the validity period.
Can I use the bundle on two devices?
The bundle ties to your SIM, not the phone. You can swap SIMs or hotspot, but heavy hotspot use drains the cap fast.
What happens after the bundle expires?
Social Plans simply stop. FB+WA Bundles will try to auto-renew if you have airtime — opt out using the codes above.
Can I buy more than one bundle at a time?
Yes. Stacking a daily and a monthly works; the daily uses up first.
How do I cancel an active bundle?
You can’t refund an active bundle. You can only stop the next auto-renewal.
