Scholarships for Left-Handed People: What Makes Them Different?

Scholarships for left-handed people are rare. Only 10% of people prefer to use their left hand over their right. However, left-handed college students may be eligible for a variety of exciting scholarships.

Students who are left-handed may have distinct brain wiring than those who are right-handed. In one study, researchers looked at left-handed children aged 11 and under. They performed lower in a few areas than their right-handed counterparts. This includes reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as gross and fine motor abilities.

According to another study, left-handed people are more likely to suffer learning impairments. So, if you have one (such as dyslexia), you should seek scholarships.

Further research suggests that lefties have a more active right hemisphere of the brain. They may be more creative as a result of this rather than being analytical or mathematical. Does this ring true for you? If that’s the case, another form of scholarship might be ideal for you. Scholarships, by definition, are rewards.

What Does a Left-Handed Scholarship Cost?

Overall, first-time, full-time students get an average of $11,300 in grant and scholarship aid. However, the payout of left-handed scholarships differs.

Juniata College in Pennsylvania, for example, offers a scholarship. Juniata College provides a free educational scholarship to left-handed students. It was made possible through Frederick and Mary F Buckley Scholarship programme .For left-handed students enrolling at Juniata, financial aid ranges from $1,000 to $1,500.

Conclusion

Scholarships for left-handed students are a type of financial aid that can help you pay for college tuition and other expenses. If you are in need of financial assistance and have demonstrated academic excellence, you should consider applying.

Being a left-handed person does not stop you from receiving government financial aid. You may also qualify for a state or federal award (for example, the Federal Pell Grant) to help offset expenses. Furthermore, unlike a student loan, a scholarship does not require repayment.

Also, there is more left-handed scholarships that we will be adding to this list. I implore you to always visit this page every day for updates. THANK YOU
