2. Pickard Parry PFAU Southpaw Scholarship

Every year, the Pickard Parry PFAU attorney office does award a scholarship worth $1,500 to left-handed high school seniors and college students who are pursuing any major with outstanding academic merit.

Nonetheless, to be considered fit for this opportunity, candidates must have met the following standards.

  • Enrol full-time at accredited colleges
  • Have unmet financial need, and be U.S. citizens or legal residents.

However, online applications must be accompanied by a brief one- to two-minute YouTube video about being left-handed.

3. MRCA Foundation Left-Handed Scholarship

Here is another and one of the best scholarships for left-handed people that are granted by the Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) for eligible southpaws must be majoring in trade-related majors, such as architecture, engineering, industrial design, material science, construction, or metallurgy to get awarded with the sum $500 to $3,000.

Other eligibility criteria for this scholarship is that applicant;

  • Must be U.S. citizens
  • Maintain full-time study
  • Attend an accredited U.S. college or technical school
  • Carry a minimum 3.0 GPA,
  • Have employment experience in construction.

4. Ken C. Hicks Scholarship

The Ken C. Hicks Scholarship Program awards which are funded by Foot Locker to award  20 scholarships worth $20,000 to student-athletes graduating from high school and pursuing a four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university.

This opportunity is open to all including left-handers to apply if they’re U.S. citizens or permanent residents that are actively involved in varsity sports or intramurals holding an unweighted GPA of 3.0, highly motivated, passionate about community service, and are not employed by Foot Locker.

5. Frederick and Mary F. Beckley ScholarshipCreated in 1979 at Juniata College in Pennsylvania, the Frederick and Mary F. Beckley Scholarship is a scholarship opportunity created for Left-handed peoples every year.However, the category of persons who can apply for this scholarship is the lefties who have completed at least their freshman year at Juniata with top academic achievement above the 3.3 GPA mark and campus leadership.Applications must include two personal references, proof of financial need, and certification of grades.

Also, the worth of this scholarship is $1,000 to $1,500 annually, while deadlines for application varies.

6. Andrew Macrina Scholarship Fund

Funded by American Culinary Federation (ACF), the Andrew Macrina Scholarship Fund is available to all left-handed high school seniors who are accepted at an accredited college to study culinary or pastry arts.

As an interested applicant of this opportunity, you have to;

  • Hold a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Have participated in culinary competitions
  • Be active in volunteer work.
  • Plan to become an ACF registered apprentice
  • Submit two recommendations, and exhibit dedication to working as a chef.
