The KFA has three academics, Which are:

1. Secondary School Cadre
2. Professional Non-Scholarship Cadre

• Junior cadre: Comprises of student between ages 13 and 14.
• Intermediate cadre: composed of students between ages 15 and 16.
• Elite cadre: composed of students between ages 17 and 19.

Where is the Kwara Football Academy Located?

KFA is located at the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin on a land area of about 35 hectares, which contains buildings and facilities that have the capacity to accommodate up to 200 students.

Kwara Football Academy Notable Achievements From Inception

Right from the start of this football academy, players from this great academy have participated in try-outs with several international clubs.

If you are a sports lover, you can recall that two players of Kwara Football Academy were invited for trials with Chelsea Football Club in England. In addition to that, the other two were invited for the same trial at Portsmouth Football Club in England.

However, most of the KFA players are currently playing for different clubs within and outside Nigeria, like Ahmed Abdul-Taofik, who is playing for FK Ventspils of the Latvian Premier League, and others.
