 The National Teachers Institute, NTI School Fees Schedule for Students 2025/2026. Many people are looking for NTI fees and how to pay NTI 2025 school fees for NCE, PGDE, BDP, ADE, and PTTP students through the payment portal.

The National Teachers’ Institute, Kaduna, offers distance learning facilities tailored to teacher education and empowerment. It was set up in 1976 by the Nigerian government, mainly due to the urgent demand for certified and competent teaching staff across every unit of the educational system.

NTI School Fees Plan for the 2025–2026 Academic Session

The National Teachers Institute school fees for the first and second semesters are now available. Those who wish to pay their fees should check out the most recent information here. It should be noted that some programs may pay more than others. NTI revises its charges each session, so confirm the exact current fees on the official portal at my.nti.edu.ng before you pay.

Requirements

There are certain criteria for the eligibility of applying for NTI; they include;

  1. B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in any discipline from a recognized institution
  2. West African School Certificate (WASC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with credits in not less than three (3) subjects, including English, and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
  3. National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained in one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings, including the English Language.
  4. National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or
  5. General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sitting.

How To Apply For NTI PGDE And ADE Admission 2025/2026

  • Visit the admission portal: https://my.nti.edu.ng/
  • Click the ‘New Students Apply’ button.
  • Fill out the online form.
  • Generate RRR in the Portal.
  • Make an online payment as directed, or go to the listed bank and make the payment.
  • Visit the portal, log in and complete your application.

How to Pay NTI School Fees on the Portal

Pay your NTI fees through the official portal at my.nti.edu.ng. Payment runs on Remita, so you get an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) you can pay by card online or at any bank.

New applicants (application form fee)

  1. Go to my.nti.edu.ng and click New Students Apply.
  2. Choose Fresh Applications, then pick your programme (e.g. PGDE), specialization, and study centre.
  3. Fill in the online form.
  4. On the Pay Application Form Fees page, confirm your details and click Pay via Remita to generate your RRR.
  5. Pay online with a Mastercard, Visa, or Verve card — or copy the RRR and pay at any bank branch.
  6. Return to Fees and Payments, enter the RRR, click Verify, then submit your application.

Admitted students (semester tuition)

  1. Log in at my.nti.edu.ng. First time? Click Register, enter your admission number, click Validate, then set your password.
  2. On your dashboard, click Pay Now to generate the RRR.
  3. Click Pay via Remita and pay by card, or copy the RRR and pay at a bank.
  4. Complete your course registration on the portal, then print your fee receipt.

Important: paying and getting an RRR is not enough. You must verify the payment on the portal, or your name won’t show on the paid list.

Are there any scholarships or financial aid options available?

Yes, there are scholarships funded by the federal and state governments. Many private bodies and companies also provide scholarships for NTI students. You can apply for these scholarships to assist you in paying for your NTI school fees. But ensure you meet the criteria laid out, which may include CGPA grade or discipline.

What is the duration of PGDE in NTI?

The time frame for the PGDE programme is between 3 semesters and 6 semesters. However, a student has to achieve at least 31 credit units to pass. This includes the core courses to graduate.
