About Millionaire for Life
Millionaire for Life is the multi-state game that replaced Cash4Life (and Lucky for Life) on February 22, 2026. For $5 a play you pick 5 numbers from 1 to 58 and one Millionaire Ball from 1 to 5. The top prize is $1 million a year for life — with an $18 million one-time cash option — and the second prize is $100,000 a year for life. Top-prize odds are 1 in 22,910,580; overall odds of winning any of the nine prize levels are about 1 in 8.5.
How to Claim a Prize
Sign the back of your ticket first. Prizes up to $600 can be paid at any licensed New York Lottery retailer. Larger prizes must be claimed at a Lottery customer service center or by mail with a claim form. You have one year from the draw date to claim a draw-game prize.
