As of 2017 The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) did direct all Computer Based Test (CBT) centres not to collect cash from candidates writing the nationwide JAMB Mock Examination.
Prof. Ishaq Oloyede disclosed this during an interaction with newsmen last Saturday before the Jamb mock examination which was cancelled.
This means that candidates are no longer expected to pay any money for the mock examination. It is now entirely free now. No CBT centre should collect N700 from candidates.
He stated that in consideration of the board’s Corporate Social Responsibility, JAMB felt it should be doing something for the candidates too.
