Scriptures Against Alcohol

Alcohol drinking has traditionally been frowned upon in the Church. Some believe it is a sin because it leads to drunkenness, which the Bible condemns, but others disagree.

They justify drinking by claiming that Jesus Christ approved it when He first turned water into wine.

However, I believe the only way to address this is to look at what the Scriptures (the Bible) say.

Below are some Bible verses about drinking and alcohol consumption.

Finally, having looked at the scriptures, we could agree that drinking alcohol in moderation is not a sin, according to the Bible. However, you must exercise caution to avoid the temptations of drunkenness, binge drinking, and addiction. Alcohol is tempting and can lead to sin.
