NYSC Request Letter Format: If you want to be assigned to a certain organisation during your National Youth Service, you’ll need to know the proper format for your request letter.

Also, the mandatory National Youth Service Corps programme gives employers the finest opportunity to find and hire young people with new ideas and untapped potential.

So, as a representative of your organisation, there are chances that you might need the services of Corps members but don’t know how to go about it.

In this piece, we will provide you with useful information regarding the NYSC request letter, including its purpose, format, and writing guidelines.

An NYSC request letter is a formal document that a firm writes requesting the NYSC officials to post Corps member(s) to their organisation.

The request letter should be written and addressed formally to the National Youth Service Corps State Coordinator. Also, ensure it’s not lengthy. You can use A4 or your company letterhead paper. With this approach, you can anticipate a positive response to your letter as soon as possible.

Again, if you are a Corps member, you can write this letter requesting NYSC to post you to a specific firm for your primary assignment. However, it’s worth noting that this approach does not guarantee success since NYSC has no way of knowing if the company actually needs your service or not.

  1. please can a corps member write a letter of request asking nysc to post him/her to a particular organisation? where the organisation here does not send out such letters, but will very much absorb corps members when posted over there.

  2. (But you can’t just see corp member on the road and ask her to come work for your company) Why is it her? Any way nice format.
