About N-Power

The N-Power program has become a national brand and has sparked some criticism, despite the government’s assurances that it will tackle any problems associated with the program.

The Federal Government’s N-Power Program is wealth creation and employment initiative under the Social Investment Program to dramatically reduce youth unemployment in Nigeria. Our goal is to equip our young graduates and nongraduates with the knowledge, resources, and means of subsistence that will allow them to progress from empowerment to independence, innovation, and creativity.

Perhaps to further prove that it was geared at tackling the problem of unemployment, it prioritized 500,000 graduate hiring process, N-Power Knowledge trying to target 25,000 non-graduates recruitment and N-Power Build, which specifically target 75,000 nongraduates’ recruitment. According to reports, the 500,000 graduates who will participate in the N-Power Corps program will receive computer devices that will store information for their specific engagement and information for their ongoing training and growth.

Participants will offer teaching, instructional, and advisory services in four main areas: agriculture, health, power technology, and community outreach.
