2022 NCEE Rescheduled

The National Examinations Council (NECO) has been given approval by the Federal Ministry of Education to reschedule the 2021 National Common Entrance Examination (NCEE) into Federal Unity Colleges to Saturday, June 5, 2023.

The examination, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2023, was rescheduled to allow states with low candidate registration to register their candidates.

As a result, all candidates, parents, guardians, and other interested parties should take notice of the new examination date.

Candidates will be able to register for the examination before the new date is set.

The new Examination Time Table can be downloaded from the Council’s website at www.neco.gov.ng by candidates, parents, and guardians.

Cut-off marks for NCEE 2022

This ncee 2021 result cut off marks can help you determine if your child is eligible for admission to the institution or school of his or her choice.

The following are the entrance requirements stipulated by the FG for unity schools, according to the education minister:

National merit or the cut off mark would take 60% (146 for merit), equality of state 30%, and other factors 10%

Candidates who apply to schools outside of their home state will be given first priority.

It’s also worth noting that each Federal Government Secondary School has a higher competitiveness than the others. The leading federal secondary schools in Nigeria, such as King’s College, Queen’s College, FGCS Benin, FGCS Akure, and others, are very competitive. This is due to the pupils’ performance in WASSCE and nationwide competitions. In addition, there is a large number of applicants seeking JSS 1 entrance into these institutions.

Apart from the unity schools cut-off point, students in the top percentile will be given preference for admission. Candidates who score higher than the minimum required mark on the national common entrance examination (NCEE) will be given priority over those who meet the cut-off point.

Finally

We urge each and every one of you to BOOKMARK this page, as an update will be made here against the 2023 NCEE once the timetable is out.

Please share this information to reach others. Thank you
