Your notes live only on your device, in your browser's local extension storage. Evergreen Notepad makes no network requests in normal use — nothing is uploaded, synced, analyzed, or tracked — and it has no permission to read or change any website you visit. The only data ever transmitted is the optional feedback message described below, sent only when you submit it.
chrome.storage.local) on your device. That is the complete permission list. The extension cannot see the pages you visit, your browsing history, or anything you do outside its own panel.
The options page has a "Report a problem" form. Only when you click Send, the extension transmits the message you typed — and an email address, only if you chose to enter one (optional, used solely to reply to you). Your notes are never included. Reports go over HTTPS to our feedback endpoint and are stored privately so we can fix problems; they are never sold or shared. If online submission is unavailable, the form opens your email app instead — nothing is sent silently. To have a feedback message deleted, contact us below.
Uninstalling the extension deletes all locally stored notes, snapshots, and trash (this is how browser extension storage works). There is nothing to delete on our side unless you submitted feedback.
If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change and the new version will be posted at this URL. The core promise — notes stay on your device — will not change.
