The Eni-Oxford Africa Scholarship is created for young, high aspiring and high potential African MBA candidates who can contribute to better leadership and governance of the continent of Africa.

In line with its mission and inspired by the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Eni contributes to the SDGs targets through strategic cooperations focused on areas of common interest such as youth employment, agriculture value chains and renewable energy and energy efficiency, particularly in Africa.

Eni-Oxford Africa Scholarship Details

The following details are necessary for application for the Eni-Oxford Africa scholarship.

Scholarship Eligibility

The scholarship is open to high aspiring and high potential African MBA candidates who can contribute to better leadership and governance of the continent.

Scholars will be selected by Oxford Saïd on academic merit and/or potential.

To be eligible, candidates must be ordinarily resident in one of the African countries in which Eni operates including:

  • Algeria
  • Angola
  • Egypt
  • Gabon
  • Ghana
  • Ivory Coast
  • Kenya
  • Libya
  • Morocco
  • Mozambique
  • Nigeria
  • Rep. of Congo
  • South Africa
  • Tunisia

Scholarship Benefits

Two scholarships are available. The scholarship covers:

  1. Full MBA course fees
  2. Living expenses stipend, and
  3. One return airfare.

Selection Criteria

The essential criteria to be considered for the scholarship are:

  1. Applicant must be an African with high aspirations and potential.
  2. Must be able to contribute to better leadership and governance of the continent of Africa.
  3. Academic excellence demonstrated through degree results, GMAT or GRE score, previous university prizes and awards, and other academic achievements.

How to Apply for the Eni-Oxford Africa Scholarship

Once you have submitted your MBA application to Oxford University, you don’t need any other application for this scholarship.

The details you supply in your MBA application form will be used to determine your eligibility for the scholarship.

Hence, you do not need to undertake any additional actions except applying for an MBA programme at Oxford.
