The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) is a Nigerian law enforcement agency that investigates financial crimes such as advance fee fraud (419 fraud) and money laundering.  

The EFCC was established in 2003, partially in response to pressure from the Financial Action Task Force on Money Laundering (FATF), which named Nigeria as one of 23 countries non-cooperative in the international community’s efforts to fight money laundering. The agency has its head office in Abuja.

Detective Assistants (DA) – 20 positions

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification:
• Experience: 5 years
• Location: Nigeria

Requirements for EFCC Detective Assistants 

• Applicants must not be above the age of 21 years.
• Applicants must possess SSCE WAEC/ NECO/ GCE with at least five (5) credit passes which must include English and Mathematics obtained in not more than 2 sittings.
• Candidates must not be married.

Detective Inspectors (DI) – 20 positions

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification: NCE   OND
• Location: Nigeria
• Job Field: Security / Intelligence

Requirements for EFCC Detective Inspectors 

• Candidates must not be above the age of 25 years.
• Candidates must possess NCE or ND.
• Applicants must not be married.

Detective Superintendent (DS) – 20 positions

• Job Type: Full Time
• Qualification: BA/BSc/HND
• Location: Nigeria
• Job Field: Security / Intelligence

Requirements for EFCC Detective Superintendent 

• Applicants must not be above the age of 27 years.
• Applicants must be bachelor’s degree holders.
• Candidates should have NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate.
• Candidates must not be married.
