We are glad to inform you that Dangote Refinery Company, a member of the Dangote Group is currently accepting applications from qualified candidates to fill several vacancies in the company.

Dangote Petroleum Refinery, a subsidiary of Dangote Group, is a state-of-the-art refinery (world’s largest single-train refinery) with an integrated petrochemical complex and an ultra-modern fertilizer complex with the largest trains in the world are under construction at Lekki, in Lagos State.

Dangote Jobs General Qualifications and Requirements

Applicants applying for the Dangote Group recruitment must possess any of the following.

  1. Possession of B.Sc, HND, NCE, OND in any discipline from a recognized institution
  2. Applicants must not be above 35 years old
  3. West African School Certificate (WASC) or Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSSC) with Credits in not less than three (3) subjects including English and at least passes in two (2) other subjects; or
  4. National Examination Council (NECO)/General Certificate of Education (GCE) Ordinary Level with passes in four (4) subjects obtained at one sitting or five (5) subjects obtained at two sittings including English Language.)
  5. National Diploma (ND) obtained from a recognized institution. National Certificate of Education (NCE) from a recognized institution; or General Certificate of Education (Advanced Level) in two (2) subjects obtained at one sitting or three (3) subjects obtained at two sittings.
  6. Must be computer literate.

1. Rotational Development Program (RDP)

Program Details

  • The challenging role rotation will give you first-hand exposure to how our functional businesses support our supply and trading activities and will contribute to building your long-time career in the organization.

Position Description

  • Supply and trading’s roles are to enhance performance and maximize group value for our assets through distinctive supply, commodity trading, risk management and information technology, underpinned by finance, control and compliance infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Each program is designed to give you maximum exposure to our supply and trading business. You will be working on projects with real impacts to our bottom line.

  • Upstream, Downstream, Supply and Trading and Corporate and Functions (C&F) businesses requires a 2:1 degree in relevant subject.

2. Trade Activation Manager – Regional

Location: Lagos

Job Purpose

  • To play a key role in enabling NASCON Allied Industries plc to accelerate its commercial agenda, delivering significant financial benefit by ensuring that the commercial calendar is activated, monitored and reported in line with the agreed activation standards.
  • He or she is to achieve all NASCON brands’ availability, visibility, activations, and accessibility objectives through effective field sales execution and cycle activities implementation while ensuring 100% of customer satisfaction at all times.

Job Description

  • To lead and set the Trade Marketing Strategy across all portfolio of brands
  • Responsible for all Marketing Activities across categories in the region -with focus on planning and implementation of visibility, merchandising, consumer promotions and events- based on market needs
  • Lead and oversee short and long term Trade Marketing projects (ATL, BTL), promotional material deployment in liaison with the team.
  • Plan and implement various promotional formats and other marketing activities at on and off-premises across the region
  • Support internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects and sales support activities are completed to specifications and deadlines.
  • Provide field sales team with tools and support materials to drive execution of BTL activities/sales drivers with customers in line with global best practice and standards
  • Align any Trade Marketing activity, point of sale and value add items to ensure best in class quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Accountable for trade activation budget and ensures that all spend are in line with plan and agreed on guidelines

Qualification / Experience

  • First degree from a reputable institution of higher learning in Nigeria. Possession of a master’s degree in Marketing or related field will be added advantage.
  • A strong track record in Sales and Trade Activation at a management level, with experience in at least two areas of Sales including ideally Field Sales.
  • Previous experience of:
  • Seasoning or related product trade activation; Daily consumer goods activation is very key to the role
  • Managing others/leading and getting results through cross-functional teams is required
  • Strategic planning, design, and implementation
  • This role requires strong project management skills, commercial and financial capability/acumen, a high level of computer literacy and previous experience of working with other parts of Sales and other functions particularly Sales, Marketing and Finance is critical. A good track record is required.

  • To manage daily production of quality products and attainment of production targets in compliance with regulations and standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement the production of refined and fortified salts.
  • Prepare the variances report, analyze data and make recommendations for variances.
  • Ensure the production process always leads to optimum yield.
  • Manage production costs.
  • Comply with HSSE standards across the plant.
  • Reduce material wastages to the barest minimum.
  • Apply proper supervisory skills and team management in achieving all deliverables.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals.
  • Ensure production practices conform to GMP, HACCP and other requirements of the Food Safety Standard.

Job Description

  • Identify and harness sales development opportunities in Modern Trade (Supermarket and Superrettes) in assigned territories.
  • Negotiate and start a business relationship with identified outlets
  • Responsible for Customers Order Management and Sales to achieve Volume and Value Targets.
