In obtaining educational grants, a student has to first recognize the various bodies that are offering such grants and what is required to qualify for the grants. Then you need to be able to come up with a convincing proposal and fill out the forms properly, so as to get your application across properly.
You should also ensure that you submit all required documents along with your application, as one might lose the opportunity of getting the grant due to an incomplete application.
The application will then be review by a panel set up by the body giving out the grants, as they decide which application will be eligible for the grants.
Successful applicants will be notified by mail that the grant has been approved and the payment will be made to the institution of the applicant and not to the applicant.
